It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe youI grew up in Tampa, Florida where I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I moved to Philadelphia in 2010 to attend Thomas Jefferson University, where I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012. I am a nationally board certified, PA & NJ licensed pediatric occupational therapist. I have worked with children and adults for a decade and absolutely love all of my kids.
I have contracted in the Philadelphia area, both in homes and in pre-schools working closely with parents, SLPs, special and regular education teachers, physical therapists and BCBAs. I am currently playing multiple roles as a mom, business owner, and clinician. I am the owner of “Wright Choice Therapy” and I have a passion for working with children with developmental delays, on the autism spectrum and much more. I have experience with the “Handwriting Without Tears” program and regularly work with fine motor delays. I have a proficiency in sensory integration techniques to facilitate focus, improve attention and self regulation for kids to improve their independence and social participation.
When I am not working with kids, I enjoy spending time with my family, teaching new OTs /students, learning everything I can about evidence based therapy techniques, singing, playing soccer and working out. I am a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association.want to turn a hobby into something more.
