Miriam, MS, OTR/L

I grew up in Kuwait, India and Canada. I completed my Bachelors in Occupational Therapy from Christian Medical College (CMC), in Vellore, India, and my Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.

I have had the privilege of working as an OT in four different countries, in both clinical and research settings with Pediatric and Adult populations, and bring this experience and perspective shaped by rich and varied backgrounds and cultures to my clinical practice. I am Nationally Board Certified and have been practicing as an OT here in New Jersey for the last 12 years.

I absolutely love working with children of all ages and have worked in schools, hospitals and outpatient pediatric settings internationally and here in the United States. I am passionate about helping kids achieve their potential with regards to their childhood occupations at home, school and in the community. It brings me so much joy to see the kids that I work with make strides toward mastering their fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, play, social interactions, sensory integration and so much more through Occupational Therapy!

In my free time I enjoy painting, drawing and reading. I also enjoy exploring the arts, different cultures and new cuisines with my husband and three young sons. I look forward to getting to know your kiddos and working with you!
